Basil Chicken with Angel Hair Pasta
 

 

3 tablespoons Italian salad dressing

2 skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cubed

2 teaspoons olive oil

1 small onion, chopped

1 clove garlic

20 oz. can chopped tomatoes

2 teaspoons dried basil leaves

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

 

1 8-ounce angel hair pasta

1/4 cups grated Parmesan cheese
 

 

Heat salad dressing in medium skillet over medium heat.

Add chicken and saute for 5-7 minutes, until chicken is cooked through.
Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels.
 

 

In large skillet, heat olive oil over high hat.
Saute the onion and garlic in the hot oil.
Then stir in tomatoes, chicken, basil, salt and red pepper sauce.
Reduce heat to medium, cover skillet and simmer for five minutes.
Stir frequently,
 

 

Cook angel hair pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water.
Drain.
Toss sauce with hot cooked angel hair pasta.
Top with grated Parmesan cheese.
