Chicken Marsala

This is such a nice recipe to make for a special dinner.  Since it's so easy to make, give it a try.  You will probably make it again and again.

 

 

4 large boneless chicken breasts
1/4 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon garlic salt
12 ounce package mushrooms
2/3 cups Marsala wine
Non-stick cooking spray

 

 

Place chicken between saran wrap and pound to make thinner.
Dredge in flour mixture.
Spray large frying pan generously with cooking spray.
Brown chicken pieces on both sides.
Slice mushrooms and add to chicken.
Continue browning chicken and mushrooms.
Add wine and simmer.
 

 

Serve over mashed potatoes or rice.
Great if served with green beans and fresh rolls.
